The term retreat is often misunderstood in Christian circles. Taking time to retreat, to step back from the busyness of everyday life, and to focus your attention on God and on your life is one of the best things, most of us, could ever do.
Retreat can be helpful when wrestling with an issue or requiring clarity and insight, but many do not need a reason to retreat, they just need time and space to listen to ‘the still small voice’ which so easily gets shut out amid the cacophony of noises that surround us. Retreat can be for a day or you can stay as long as you need. Day visitors have access to ‘Imbibe’ our garden coffee shop, to sit and read or have refreshments. Alternatively you can book into the house for meals.
Come on your own, as a couple or as part of a small group. Feel free to enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings or if you prefer to have some direction or guidance this can be arranged for you. Our chapel, the ‘Mishkan’, is available 24/7, as is our ‘Serenity Room’, both situated in the gardens.
We facilitate seminars on various topical issues on an occasional basis.

The room also has its own kitchen annex for teas and coffees, less–abled toilet facilities and a piano. Meals can be provided by the house kitchen on request at time of booking.
